Responsibilities For Civil Engineer, Land Development (Starship Launch Pad)

  • Own site feasibility and conceptual planning, storm water management, grading, drainage and utility design, erosion and sediment control
  • Perform calculations for grading, drainage, stormwater control, water quality, and underground utilities
  • Drive coordination and design for local, state, and federal permits for land development
  • Manage civil aspects of construction projects including quality control and conflict resolution
  • Interact with stakeholders to develop project requirements, schedule, and cost estimates
  • Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time

Requirements For Civil Engineer, Land Development (Starship Launch Pad)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 2+ years of professional experience in civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting
  • Basic proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD/Civil3D
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work in all environments (heat, cold, rain) and hazardous conditions
