Responsibilities For Civil/Structural Engineer (Starship)

  • Own structural engineering work packages for production site design and development
  • Design elements of multidisciplinary, multistory projects
  • Perform structural engineering analyses and designs
  • Create structural design drawings, calculations, and design summaries
  • Estimate material quantities, schedules, and costs
  • Write and manage construction contracts
  • Manage multi-discipline design and construction projects
  • Provide onsite field observations and resolve conflicts
  • Maintain construction schedule and budget
  • Ensure safety compliance and practices
  • Coordinate with contractors and building officials

Requirements For Civil/Structural Engineer (Starship)

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • 1+ years of experience with high rise facilities
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Ability to pass Air Force background checks
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Professional Engineering (PE) or Structural Engineering (SE) license preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, NX, or Solidworks
  • Knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, ANSYS, or FEMAP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience
