Responsibilities For Design for Manufacturing Engineer - PCBA (Starlink)

  • Work with Manufacturing and Supplier Development Engineers to drive SMT process requirements
  • Drive consolidation of SMT assembly requirements
  • Perform PCB reviews for manufacturing issues
  • Identify optimization opportunities for product output and quality
  • Develop test vehicles to validate new processes
  • Drive corrective actions based on manufacturing defects

Requirements For Design for Manufacturing Engineer - PCBA (Starlink)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or other STEM discipline
  • 1+ years work experience in SMT processing and/or microelectronics packaging
  • Must be willing to do minimal travel
  • Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
