Description For Electrical Engineer (Crew Starship Avionics)

SpaceX is at the forefront of revolutionizing space travel with its ambitious goal of making humanity a multi-planetary species. As an Electrical Engineer on the Crew Starship Avionics team, you'll be directly involved in developing critical systems for the SpaceX Human Landing System, which will transport astronauts to the moon as part of NASA's Artemis program and eventually to Mars.

The role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on one of the most sophisticated crewed vehicles ever developed for space exploration. You'll be responsible for designing and developing high-reliability spacecraft electronics, covering everything from communications and power systems to life support and navigation. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with circuit design and testing.

Working at SpaceX means joining a world-class team of motivated engineers who are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in space technology. The fast-paced environment demands innovation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You'll be involved in the entire development cycle, from conception through flight operations, and will directly contribute to NASA deliverables.

The compensation package is competitive, starting from $100,000 to $150,000 depending on experience, and includes comprehensive benefits such as medical coverage, 401(k), and equity opportunities. The position offers more than just technical work – it's a chance to be part of a historic mission to expand human presence beyond Earth.

This role is perfect for someone who combines technical expertise with a passion for space exploration. You'll need to be comfortable with extended hours when required and be able to collaborate effectively across teams. The position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to ITAR regulations. If you're ready to contribute to humanity's next giant leap and work on technology that will literally change the course of human history, this role at SpaceX is your opportunity to make that impact.
