Description For Electrical Integration & Test Engineer (Starshield)

SpaceX, founded on the vision of human space exploration, is seeking an Electrical Integration & Test Engineer for their Starshield program. This role is crucial in ensuring satellites achieve their mission by managing integration, testing, and optimization of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hands-on experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous requirements.

Key responsibilities include managing integration build flow, evaluating designs for manufacturability, interfacing with engineers and technicians, developing procedures, and evaluating non-conformances. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or physics, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

SpaceX offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $100,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on the level and experience. Additional benefits include potential stock options, bonuses, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and various perks.

This position may involve travel, extended hours, and physical demands such as standing for long periods and working in tight spaces.   • Manage integration build flow and test operations

Requirements For Electrical Integration & Test Engineer (Starshield)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering or physics
  • 1+ years of design and/or hands-on manufacturing experience
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (standing, climbing, stooping, etc.)
