SpaceX, a pioneering space exploration company, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their Starlink division in Bastrop, TX (Austin area). This role represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the world's largest satellite constellation project, which provides high-speed internet access globally.

The position involves leading critical infrastructure projects for SpaceX's Starlink production facility, working alongside elite engineers across multiple disciplines. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and activating electrical infrastructure that supports the manufacturing capabilities of this world-class facility.

The role offers a comprehensive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $135,000 annually, depending on experience and level. Responsibilities For Electrical Project Engineer

  • Lead project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process
  • Manage design, development, and issuance of drawings, documentation, and reports for manufacturing line projects
  • Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors
  • Resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time
  • Coordinate with electrical utility provider for design/engineering
  • Interact with engineers, contractors, vendors, fabricators, and project stakeholders

Requirements For Electrical Project Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, or other engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of professional experience with design or build of commercial or industrial power systems
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
