Responsibilities For High Pressure Die Casting Analysis Engineer (Starlink)

  • Inform engineering teams with expertise in die casting to enhance manufacturability and mold performance
  • Collaborate on design for manufacturability (DFM)
  • Optimize casting computer simulation algorithms
  • Use models to identify and guide future casting development projects
  • Use advanced casting simulation tools to boost production operations
  • Analyze data from simulations to improve die casting processes

Requirements For High Pressure Die Casting Analysis Engineer (Starlink)

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, materials engineering, or other engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of experience running multi-physics process simulation software
  • 1+ years of experience working with casting machines and operations
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Experience with Python, C++, SQL or similar
  • Experience with Docker, Git, Pandas
  • Knowledge of HPDC processing, tooling, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with casting process simulation software (MAGMAsoft, Flow3D, EKK)
