Responsibilities For IT Network Engineer

  • Lead the design, implementation and troubleshooting of large and complex wireless networks
  • Configure, install and support campus and data center networks
  • Troubleshoot wired/wireless networking related issues
  • Support the deployment of network access control (NAC) using 802.1X
  • Develop and enforce network policies and standards
  • Plan and prepare project roadmaps
  • Develop network automation tools to support our enterprise network
  • Monitor network health using in-house and 3rd party tools
  • Create and maintain proper documentation of our networks

Requirements For IT Network Engineer

Python
Linux
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering
  • Expert understanding of the OSI model and network standards
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Arista data center class switches
  • Experience with Cisco wireless LAN controllers
  • Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) using 802.1X
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SNMP, IP helpers, ARP, CDP, LLDP
  • Experience with BGP routing
  • Linux/Windows system administration
  • Python scripting experience
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
