Responsibilities For IT Systems Engineer, Launch

  • Optimize and consolidate existing automation scripts and tooling for multiple launch vehicles
  • Provide advanced support for Linux and Windows administration and troubleshooting
  • Increase mission critical IT infrastructure maturity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks
  • Integrate DevOps tooling and processes with existing procedures
  • Collaborate with software and controls teams for infrastructure deployment
  • Provide real-time IT support during launch and test operations
  • Enhance network monitoring capabilities
  • Research and implement new virtualization, storage, and networking technologies
  • Maintain IT system CMDBs, procedures, and contingency plans
  • Support rapid infrastructure expansion with design guidance

Requirements For IT Systems Engineer, Launch

Linux
Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics, information systems, or other engineering discipline and 3+ years of systems engineering experience; OR 5+ years of systems engineering experience
  • Experience with virtualization or containerization technologies
  • Experience with Active Directory and multi-platform authentication
  • Working knowledge of GitOps concepts, tools, and processes
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to ITAR requirements
