Responsibilities For Launch Engineer, Spacecraft Hypergols (Dragon)

  • Engineering owner for hypergol fueling preparations and operations of customer payloads
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation for preventative maintenance
  • Develop and execute procedures for spacecraft integration
  • Manage multiple priorities and facility improvement projects
  • Host Ground Operations Working Group meetings with customer teams
  • Run checkouts and load as a test conductor for fueling operations
  • Drive efficiencies between Payload and Dragon hypergol operations

Requirements For Launch Engineer, Spacecraft Hypergols (Dragon)

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical and/or fluid systems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to pass Air Force background check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with hazardous operations and fluid systems
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
