SpaceX is seeking a Launch Reliability Engineer to join their inclusive, inter-disciplinary team committed to the reliability of flight & ground components and efficient operational processes. As a Reliability Engineer, you'll have extensive exposure collaborating with core groups at SpaceX, guiding hardware from design to production, operation, and maintenance. You'll use data to understand reliability factors, support quality objectives, and drive improvements in manufacturing, test, and flight reliability. The role requires both detailed problem-solving and system-level prioritization for the entire vehicle. You'll work in a hands-on environment, spending time in the office, factory floor, and lab to contribute to SpaceX's mission of making humanity interplanetary. Partnering with Flight Reliability, Launch Engineering, and Launch Operations teams, you'll ensure mission success as SpaceX progresses towards crewed spaceflight and Mars colonization. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects including Falcon 9, Dragon, and Starship programs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering. Preferred skills include on-console operator experience, knowledge of quality tools and lean principles, and experience with automation development, fluid system operations, or control systems testing.
This role offers competitive compensation, with a pay range of $125,000 - $175,000 per year for a Senior/Launch Reliability Engineer.
