Description For Lead Manufacturing Engineer (Starlink PCBA)

SpaceX, founded on the vision of human space exploration, is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for Starlink PCBA production. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of technology, developing innovative solutions for space-based internet connectivity. As the lead, you'll bridge development and production teams, influencing hardware design and spearheading manufacturing processes for current and next-generation Starlink products.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of engineers and specialists, implementing high-volume production processes, aligning department initiatives with manufacturing goals, and managing overall strategy for quality, delivery, and cost. You'll optimize production layouts, manage tooling and inventory, and drive design for manufacturability and testability.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's preferred), 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience, and a strong background in electronics manufacturing. Experience leading high-performing teams, implementing automation, and transitioning products from design to high-volume manufacturing is crucial.
