Responsibilities For Lead Precision Machining Engineer (Starlink)
- Lead and build a team of engineers who support precision machined hardware development and production
- Establish and maintain a strong team culture of technical excellence and collaboration
- Aggressively implement process improvements to production processes
- Create capital and facility justifications for large projects
- Oversee all process functions, document control and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain a workflow for precision machining development and production requirements
Requirements For Lead Precision Machining Engineer (Starlink)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or materials engineering
- 2+ years of experience in designing, building, analyzing, or testing complex parts
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Some travel required (up to 10%)
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks
- Must meet ITAR requirements
