Responsibilities For Maintenance Engineer, High Pressure Die Casting (Starlink)
- Lead maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technically complex equipment failures
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and action corrective measures
- Develop and execute complex improvement projects
- Collaborate with development engineering teams
- Provide leadership for utilization of CMMS
- Integrate predictive tools into maintenance
- Complete hands-on repairs of equipment
- Coordinate internal and 3rd party resources
- Create and update preventative maintenance instructions
- Interface with engineering, quality, production, and procurement teams
- Help create optimized machine spare parts lists
Requirements For Maintenance Engineer, High Pressure Die Casting (Starlink)
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in manufacturing environment
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
- Ability to work extended hours and some weekends
- Willing to travel up to 10%
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs
