Responsibilities For Maintenance Engineer (Starlink)

  • Lead maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technically complex equipment failures
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective measures
  • Develop and execute complex improvement projects to maximize production equipment availability
  • Collaborate with development engineering teams on reliability and maintenance efficiency
  • Provide leadership for utilization of CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems)
  • Implement predictive maintenance tools and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
  • Complete hands-on in-depth repairs of various equipment systems
  • Coordinate internal and 3rd party resources for repairs, overhauls, and upgrades
  • Create and update preventative maintenance instructions
  • Interface with various departments to resolve production hold factors
  • Optimize machine spare parts inventory and management

Requirements For Maintenance Engineer (Starlink)

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (due to ITAR requirements)
  • Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments as needed
  • Availability to work extended hours and some weekends
  • Willingness to travel for short trips as needed, up to 10% travel
