Responsibilities For Maintenance Engineer (Starlink)
- Lead maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technically complex equipment failures
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective measures
- Develop and execute complex improvement projects to maximize production equipment availability
- Collaborate with development engineering teams on reliability and maintenance efficiency
- Provide leadership for utilization of CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems)
- Implement predictive maintenance tools and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
- Complete hands-on in-depth repairs of various equipment systems
- Coordinate internal and 3rd party resources for repairs, overhauls, and upgrades
- Create and update preventative maintenance instructions
- Interface with various departments to resolve production hold factors
- Optimize machine spare parts inventory and management
Requirements For Maintenance Engineer (Starlink)
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (due to ITAR requirements)
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to work in outdoor environments as needed
- Availability to work extended hours and some weekends
- Willingness to travel for short trips as needed, up to 10% travel
