Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer, Gateway Ground Stations (Starlink)

  • Diagnose performance and reliability issues through telemetry, testing, and hands-on debugging
  • Develop fixes, prove them out in the field, and train field specialists in procedures
  • Build software solutions to monitor gateway and site health and improve hardware autonomy
  • Work across teams to eliminate failure modes through hardware, software, and operations changes

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer, Gateway Ground Stations (Starlink)

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar STEM discipline
  • 1+ year of experience working on hardware focused controls, electrical, or mechanical engineering projects
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Willing to travel 0-25% of the time
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
