Responsibilities For Mechanical Reliability Engineer, Gateway Ground Stations (Starlink)
- Diagnose performance and reliability issues through telemetry, testing, and hands-on debugging
- Develop fixes, prove them out in the field, and train field specialists in the procedures
- Build software solutions to monitor gateway and site health and to improve hardware autonomy
- Work across teams to eliminate failure modes through hardware, software, and operations changes
Requirements For Mechanical Reliability Engineer, Gateway Ground Stations (Starlink)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar STEM discipline
- 1+ year of experience working on hardware focused controls, electrical, or mechanical engineering projects
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to ITAR requirements
- Willing to travel 0-25% of the time
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
