Responsibilities For MEP Engineer (Starship Infrastructure)
- Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace facility mechanical & HVAC engineering projects
- Perform calculations for HVAC & piping design
- Drive coordination and design for local, state, and federal permits
- Manage mechanical aspects of construction projects including quality control
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors
- Develop project requirements, schedule, and cost estimates
- Own budget & schedule for work within multi-disciplinary team
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field
Requirements For MEP Engineer (Starship Infrastructure)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering discipline
- 2+ years of professional experience in mechanical, HVAC, or facility infrastructure
- Must be able to pass Air Force background check
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted
- Must be available to work extended hours
- Must meet ITAR requirements (US citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
