Responsibilities For Mission Integration Engineer, Payload Integration & Test (Starshield)

  • Support all phases of the program from development, initial proposal, through successful test, flight, and on-orbit commissioning
  • Operate satellites across multiple build and test campaigns
  • Complete hands-on flight hardware checkouts, repairs, and inspections
  • Collaborate internally across engineering disciplines to develop and execute integration and test procedures
  • Serve as the customer interface at meetings, tests, and reviews
  • Ensure contract deliverables are completed on-time and per customer expectations

Requirements For Mission Integration Engineer, Payload Integration & Test (Starshield)

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace or space industry
  • 2+ years of technical project management/systems engineering experience
  • Must be eligible under ITAR requirements
  • Must pass DoD level background checks
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance preferred
