Responsibilities For Mission Integration Engineer, Space Operations

  • Support all phases of program from development through successful test, flight, and on-orbit operations
  • Serve as customer interface at meetings, tests, and reviews
  • Develop and summarize technical content on complex designs and trade studies
  • Drive process improvements to meet contract obligations and ensure safe operations
  • Ensure contract deliverables completion and requirement management
  • Design operator UI/UX screens for space vehicle management
  • Develop training content and provide instruction to mission control operators
  • Script and deploy simulation software components
  • Work with operations teams on spacecraft fleet management

Requirements For Mission Integration Engineer, Space Operations

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace or space industry
  • 2+ years of technical project management/systems engineering experience
  • Experience with launch vehicles, spacecraft, or aerospace systems
  • 1+ years of programming experience in Python or JavaScript
  • Must have or be willing to obtain Top Secret clearance
  • Must pass DoD level background checks
  • Willing to travel (10%)
  • Must be eligible under ITAR requirements
