Mission Integration Engineer (Starshield)

SpaceX, founded with the vision of exploring the stars, is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer for their Starshield program. Starshield leverages SpaceX's Starlink technology for government use, focusing on earth observation, communications, and hosted payloads. As a core member of the Mission Management team, you'll be the primary contact for customers throughout the mission lifecycle. You'll support new business proposals, work on mission design, prototype development, and testing. Collaboration with various SpaceX disciplines is key to ensure safe and successful missions. Responsibilities include customer interface, contract deliverable management, prototype development, and supporting all program phases. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering, 2+ years of aerospace industry experience, technical project management skills, and experience with launch vehicles or spacecraft. Additional preferences include working well under pressure, strong communication skills, and a positive, innovative attitude. This role may require a security clearance and involves up to 25% travel.
