Description For Network Infrastructure Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX, a pioneering space exploration company, is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their groundbreaking Starlink project. This role is integral to SpaceX's mission of providing reliable internet connectivity to the entire world through their satellite constellation.

As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building and activating ground stations and points of presence that support the global network growth of the Starlink constellation. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on technology that will connect the unconnected and improve internet access in poorly connected regions worldwide.

The role demands a skilled professional with at least 2 years of experience in operating large-scale networks. You'll be responsible for building and managing network interconnections, traveling to deployment sites, and ensuring smooth operation of the infrastructure that connects our satellite constellation to the internet. Your expertise in network hardware, configuration, and troubleshooting will be essential for the success of this mission.

SpaceX offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $135,000, equity opportunities, and full healthcare coverage. The company culture is focused on innovation and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in space exploration and global connectivity.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a team that's literally changing the world - from enabling human life on Mars to providing internet access to the most remote corners of Earth. You'll work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a mission that's fundamentally more exciting than traditional networking roles.

The position requires domestic and international travel, participation in on-call rotations, and compliance with ITAR requirements. If you're passionate about space technology, global connectivity, and want to work on infrastructure that will shape the future of internet access worldwide, this role at SpaceX could be your next career milestone.
