Responsibilities For Operations Engineer (Starshield)

  • Develop tools to analyze delivery, capacity, production processes, supply chain, and operations
  • Work on strategy to mitigate launch risks and improve quality, output, safety, and cost
  • Develop process flow models to analyze production system behavior
  • Identify operational challenges and determine root cause solutions
  • Develop and track key performance measures
  • Develop system and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental partners
  • Capture best practices and manage organizational knowledge
  • Build models and equipment layouts for strategic space planning

Requirements For Operations Engineer (Starshield)

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of experience in using Excel, SQL, or Python/R
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of work week
  • Must be able to pass Air Force background checks
  • Must meet ITAR requirements
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high stress environments
  • Excellent written and communication skills
