Responsibilities For Production Project Engineer (Starlink)
- Lead a project team of engineers, consultants, and contractors throughout the engineering, procurement, and construction process
- Manage the design, development, and issuance of drawings, documentation, and reports for manufacturing line projects
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors
- Accountable for accurate budgeting and cost forecasting
- Develop and manage production strategies
- Define new business processes and systems for high volume production
- Coordinate and schedule work with internal SpaceX teams and external contractors
- Assist production/engineering leadership team to identify trends and opportunities
Requirements For Production Project Engineer (Starlink)
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or other engineering discipline
- 1+ years of experience in production engineering, manufacturing, or industrial project management
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
