SpaceX, a pioneering space technology company, is seeking a Senior Avionics Systems Engineer to join their Falcon team. This role represents a unique opportunity to directly impact humanity's journey to become a multi-planetary species, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

As a systems engineer in Falcon Avionics, you'll be part of a cross-functional team that bridges the gap between vehicle analysis, design, and production through to vehicle operations. The role combines mechanical, electrical, and software engineering practices to maintain an unprecedented launch rate while ensuring high reliability and mission success.

The position demands a creative and quality-focused individual who can analyze systems designs, define new processes, develop system validation techniques, and introduce new designs to improve vehicle performance. You'll be responsible for real-time troubleshooting on vehicles from integration through launch operations, working with cutting-edge technology that's literally pushing the boundaries of human exploration.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience with software tools and electrical component design, along with a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or math. You should be comfortable with tools like Matlab, C++, or Python, and have hands-on experience with electrical components and testing equipment.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $130,000 to $180,000 per year, complemented by extensive benefits including equity options, comprehensive healthcare, and retirement plans. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on revolutionary space technology while contributing to SpaceX's mission of making humanity a multi-planetary species.

Working at SpaceX means joining a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced, autonomous environment where your work directly impacts the future of space exploration.
