Description For Sr. Electrical Engineer (Crew Starship Avionics)

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Crew Starship Avionics team, working on revolutionary space travel technology. This role is crucial in developing avionics for the SpaceX Human Landing System, which will carry astronauts to the moon as part of NASA's Artemis program and eventually to Mars. The position offers an opportunity to work on one of the most sophisticated crewed vehicles ever flown in space, developing everything from communications to life support systems.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in electronics design and system architecture, with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers. You'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of flight hardware development, from conception through operation, while working closely with NASA and cross-functional teams.

This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a world-class team that's literally pushing the boundaries of human space exploration. The role offers competitive compensation ($130,000-$200,000) plus extensive benefits including equity, comprehensive healthcare, and retirement plans. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology and contributing directly to humanity's next giant leap in space exploration.

The position requires strong technical skills in electronics design, circuit simulation, and software tools, combined with excellent project management and communication abilities. The fast-paced environment demands a self-starter mentality and the ability to work under pressure to meet critical mission milestones.
