Responsibilities For Sr. Hardware Reliability Engineer (Starlink Satellites)

  • Perform hands-on failure analysis to drive root cause and corrective action of production, test, and on-orbit failures
  • Develop, validate, and implement production processes for existing and next-gen hardware
  • Create data analysis programs to identify production yield and failure rates
  • Conduct regular build quality reviews
  • Collaborate with production to reliably reduce in-process inspections
  • Determine Quality Management System requirements
  • Define ongoing reliability testing strategy

Requirements For Sr. Hardware Reliability Engineer (Starlink Satellites)

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years in a design or manufacturing engineering role
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Experience in mechatronics
  • Proficiency with programming languages (Python, C, C++, SQL)
  • Knowledge of quality tools
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and offsite as needed
