As a Sr. IT Network Engineer, you'll lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of large and complex wireless networks. Your responsibilities will include configuring and supporting campus and data center networks, deploying network access control, developing network policies, and creating automation tools.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies, with expertise in routing, switching, dynamic multicast, Wi-Fi, and network access control. You should have hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Arista data center class switches, wireless LAN controllers, and various networking protocols.

Responsibilities For Sr. IT Network Engineer
- Lead the design, implementation and troubleshooting of large and complex wireless networks
- Configure, install and support campus and data center networks
- Troubleshoot wired/wireless networking related issues
- Support the deployment of network access control (NAC) using 802.1X
- Develop and enforce network policies and standards
- Plan and prepare project roadmaps
- Develop network automation tools to support our enterprise network
- Monitor network health using in-house and 3rd party tools
- Create and maintain proper documentation of our networks
Requirements For Sr. IT Network Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other STEM discipline and 5+ years professional network engineering experience; OR 7+ years of professional network engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- Expert understanding of the OSI model and network standards
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Arista data center class switches
- Experience with Cisco wireless LAN controllers or other wireless technologies
- Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) using 802.1X
- Understanding of Wave Division Multiplexing and Fiber Optics
- Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, SNMP, IP helpers, ARP, CDP, LLDP
- Experience with BGP routing
- Knowledge of switch port security features
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Proficiency in network documentation
- Linux/Windows system administration skills
- Experience with Python scripting
- Industry standard certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (preferred)
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State (ITAR requirements)
