This role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing the advanced manufacturing equipment that produces components for Starlink, the world's largest satellite constellation providing global internet coverage.

The position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring deep knowledge of PCB chemical processing equipment and manufacturing systems. Responsibilities For Sr. Maintenance Engineer, Chemical (Starlink PCB)

  • Lead maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technically complex equipment failures
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective measures
  • Develop and execute complex improvement projects for production equipment
  • Collaborate with development engineering teams on reliability and maintenance efficiency
  • Provide leadership for CMMS utilization
  • Implement predictive tools for Reliability Centered Maintenance
  • Complete hands-on repairs of equipment systems
  • Coordinate internal and 3rd party resources for repairs and upgrades
  • Create and update preventative maintenance instructions
  • Interface with various departments to resolve production blockers
  • Help create optimized machine spare parts lists and inventory management

Requirements For Sr. Maintenance Engineer, Chemical (Starlink PCB)

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing
  • Experience with PCB chemical processing equipment
  • Experience with MRP, ERP, and CMMS systems
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
  • Available for extended hours and some weekends
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
