Responsibilities For Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Tool & Die Machining (Starlink)

  • Lead project development of technologies for plastic injection molding and high pressure die casting tooling manufacturing processes
  • Act as technical decision maker and advisor on manufacturing techniques
  • Create collaborative business plans with design engineering and production teams
  • Manage CapX strategy, staffing, equipment specification, production layouts, and training
  • Develop and manage engineering capacity, schedules, and project plans
  • Lead design for manufacturing process collaboration
  • Research new materials, manufacturing technologies, and finishing options
  • Inform prototype and production manufacturing costs estimations
  • Publish and maintain detailed project schedules

Requirements For Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Tool & Die Machining (Starlink)

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, materials engineering, or other engineering discipline
  • 6+ years of experience with high precision machining
  • Experience with taking products from research and development into production
  • Willingness to travel (~30% travel)
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Willingness to work long hours and weekends as necessary
