Responsibilities For Sr. Mechanisms Engineer (Starship)

  • Design, analyze, and optimize crane structures and components
  • Plan and conduct testing and validation of new crane designs
  • Provide technical expertise on crane design, operation, and maintenance
  • Lead crane engineering projects from concept to completion
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation

Requirements For Sr. Mechanisms Engineer (Starship)

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 1+ years of experience with bridge cranes or mobile cranes
  • Must be able to work at elevated heights
  • Flexibility for varying schedules and extended hours
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Proficiency in engineering software for structural analysis
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis and mechanical principles
  • Familiarity with industry standards (ASME B30.2, OSHA regulations)
