Sr. Network Security Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX, a pioneering space exploration company, is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join their revolutionary Starlink project. As a Sr. Network Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing network security tools, producing threat models, and managing security configurations across the Starlink network. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of network security experience (or 6+ years without a degree) and strong proficiency in securing various systems and infrastructure. Your expertise in network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS solutions, and VPNs, will be essential. Python programming skills for automation and a deep understanding of networking protocols are crucial for success in this role.

SpaceX offers a competitive compensation package starting from $160,000 to $220,000 per year, complemented by attractive benefits including equity options, comprehensive healthcare, and 401(k). The position is based in Seattle, with access to company shuttle service to the SpaceX Redmond office.
