Responsibilities For Sr. Propulsion Engineer (Merlin Thrust Chamber Assemblies / Turbopumps & Injectors)
- Support day-to-day production of Falcon, Merlin engine sub-assemblies, and engine integration
- Analyze recurring manufacturing discrepancies and lead multi-disciplinary teams on root cause analysis
- Develop new and evaluate existing manufacturing processes and equipment
- Provide subject matter expertise on manufacturing processes and products
- Identify and execute design-for-manufacturability improvements
- Communicate and coordinate with supporting departments
Requirements For Sr. Propulsion Engineer (Merlin Thrust Chamber Assemblies / Turbopumps & Injectors)
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or STEM discipline
- 5+ years of mechanical design and/or hands-on manufacturing experience
- Must be comfortable stooping, bending, and standing
- Must be willing to work long hours and weekends when necessary
- Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
