Responsibilities For Sr. Reliability Engineer (Starshield)

  • Provide team leadership and technical guidance for Hardware and EEE Parts Reliability group
  • Drive Avionics EEE piece part reliability issues and risk towards closure
  • Use reliability physics models and statistics to assess mission risks
  • Lead reliability test planning, methodology and execution
  • Build reliability prediction models to evaluate product performance
  • Advise EEE designers on parts selection
  • Interface with supply chain, design engineers, and production/manufacturing
  • Evaluate failure analysis and coordinate investigations
  • Analyze and model electronics design for reliability
  • Execute testing campaigns to assess hardware reliability

Requirements For Sr. Reliability Engineer (Starshield)

Python
  • MS in Reliability Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, package, and/or PCBA reliability
  • 5+ years of work experience in reliability modelling methods
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Experience with accelerated testing methods and physics of failure
  • Working knowledge of Python
  • Experience with PCB Design Analysis
  • Familiarity with FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis
