SpaceX, a pioneering space technology company, is seeking a Senior RF Software Engineer to join their Starlink team. This role is crucial in developing the world's most advanced broadband internet system, which currently serves over 4M+ users globally. The position combines RF engineering expertise with software development to create and optimize customer wireless hardware for Starlink's satellite internet constellation.

You'll be part of a highly collaborative team, working alongside RF, DSP, software, and hardware engineers to solve complex technical challenges.

As an RF Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing RF-focused functionality, creating calibration/test software, and designing automated RF test setups. Responsibilities For Sr. RF Software Engineer, Customer Hardware (Starlink)

  • Develop RF-focused functionality and calibration/test software for customer wireless hardware operation and production
  • Design, build, validate, and automate RF test setups for full characterization of custom RF designs
  • Work in close collaboration with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems

Requirements For Sr. RF Software Engineer, Customer Hardware (Starlink)

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science
  • 5+ years of professional development experience in C#, C/C++, or Python
  • 5+ years of professional experience with RF test equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
