Description For Sr. RF/Analog IC Design Engineer (Silicon Engineering)

SpaceX is seeking a Senior RF/Analog IC Design Engineer to join their Silicon Engineering team in Redmond, WA. This role is crucial for the development of Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system that's currently serving over 5 million users worldwide.

The position involves working on cutting-edge next-generation RFICs that will be deployed in both space and ground infrastructures globally. As a senior engineer, you'll be collaborating with world-class cross-disciplinary teams, including systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, and product engineering professionals.

The role requires extensive experience in RF integrated circuit design, with a focus on developing complex RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems. You'll be working with advanced technologies in the Ku-band, K-band, and Ka-band frequency ranges, contributing to SpaceX's mission of expanding internet connectivity to previously underserved areas.

Key responsibilities include designing and simulating RF circuits, developing specifications for RFIC subsystems, performing IC floor planning, and working closely with manufacturing teams for production testing. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $160,000 to $220,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, 401(k), stock options, and paid leave.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced RF/Analog IC engineer to make a significant impact on global connectivity while working with cutting-edge technology at one of the world's most innovative aerospace companies. The role combines technical challenges with the opportunity to contribute to SpaceX's broader mission of making humanity a multi-planetary species.
