Responsibilities For Sr. Supply Chain Engineer (Starship Electronics)

  • Act as technical point of contact for custom part suppliers for Avionics
  • Collaborate with sourcing team for strategic part sourcing
  • Develop and maintain supplier audit system
  • Review and assess supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
  • Function as liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers
  • Implement and monitor production part approval process (PPAP)
  • Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics
  • Recommend technical product improvements
  • Work with suppliers to resolve manufacturing issues
  • Improve quality performance of suppliers through workshops and technical assistance
  • Contribute to design reviews as manufacturing and quality expert
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts
  • Handle non-conforming product investigations and corrective actions

Requirements For Sr. Supply Chain Engineer (Starship Electronics)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing or engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with electronics manufacturing and/or design
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends when needed
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Based in Hawthorne, CA - no remote work
