Responsibilities For Sr. Supply Chain Reliability Engineer (Materials)

  • Act as reliability point of contact for purchased metallic raw materials and semi-finished products
  • Interface with production operations and engineering teams to develop quality signals and processes
  • Drive changes for system reliability, manufacturability, and efficiency
  • Lead cross functional supplier quality failure investigations
  • Coordinate failure resolution and follow-up actions
  • Manage containment actions for non-conforming products
  • Identify risk reduction opportunities and improve manufacturability
  • Review acceptance and qualification of new supplier capabilities
  • Monitor supplier capabilities and resolve issues
  • Assess changes in supplier processes and cross-functional impacts
  • Run ongoing reliability risk review activities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive improved verification

Requirements For Sr. Supply Chain Reliability Engineer (Materials)

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/inspection of mechanical products
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Up to 25% work week travel required, including international
  • Must be based in Hawthorne, CA - no remote work
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must meet ITAR requirements (US citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
