SpaceX, a pioneering space technology company, is seeking a Structures Design Engineer to join their Falcon program team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to SpaceX's mission of making humanity a multi-planetary species, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

As a Structures Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing metallic structures and propulsion fluid systems for SpaceX's revolutionary Falcon rockets. Your work will directly impact the development of new technologies and support the existing vehicle fleet, contributing to the successful flights of both Falcon and Falcon Heavy vehicles.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, with base salaries ranging from $95,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on your experience level. Beyond the base salary, SpaceX provides comprehensive benefits including equity opportunities, medical coverage, and retirement plans, demonstrating their commitment to their employees' well-being and long-term success.

This role is perfect for someone with a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least one year of mechanical design experience. You'll need proficiency in 3D CAD software and a solid understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups. The ideal candidate should be creative, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in an integrated team environment.

Working at SpaceX means being part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your designs and innovations will directly contribute to advancing space technology. You'll collaborate with brilliant minds across different teams, participate in the iterative design process, and see your work transform from concepts to flight-ready components.

The position requires flexibility with working hours, including potential weekends, and willingness to travel up to 25% to various SpaceX sites. Due to ITAR requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Join SpaceX in their mission to revolutionize space technology and be part of a team that's literally reaching for the stars. Your work will contribute to making human life multi-planetary, marking a significant milestone in human history.
