Responsibilities For Supply Chain Engineer, Flight Termination (Falcon)

  • Act as technical point of contact for suppliers, building relationships and implementing improvement initiatives
  • Develop working relationships with engineering, integration and production teams
  • Contribute to design reviews as expert in manufacturability, testability, and supplier capabilities
  • Collaborate with sourcing team for strategic part sourcing
  • Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics
  • Review supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
  • Recommend technical product improvements
  • Function as liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers
  • Manage supplier improvement plans
  • Handle non-conforming product investigations and corrective actions

Requirements For Supply Chain Engineer, Flight Termination (Falcon)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing or engineering
  • Experience in ordinance fabrication
  • Knowledge of GD&T, dimensional inspection, and non-destructive evaluation techniques
  • Experience with environmental testing
  • Knowledge of special processes (welding, soldering, heat treatment)
  • Ability to travel up to 60-75% of work week
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
