Responsibilities For Test Engineer (Falcon Test)
- Test rocket hardware to determine suitability for flight
- Provide on-console engineering support for technicians during daily test stand operations
- Perform real-time and post-test data review to evaluate performance
- Create, review, and optimize test processes/procedures
- Identify and resolve system pitfalls and potential hazards
- Serve as final authority for safety operations
- Document test results and recommend improvements
Requirements For Test Engineer (Falcon Test)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or other engineering field
- 1+ years of hands-on testing experience
- Physical ability to work in tight quarters and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
- Ability to work flexible hours
