Staff Platform Infrastructure Engineer

SPAN, a mission-driven company focused on home electrification and decarbonization, is seeking a Staff Platform Infrastructure Engineer to lead their next-generation infrastructure and developer platforms. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on Kubernetes, Pulumi, Istio, and AWS technologies in a microservices environment.

The position requires an experienced professional with 8+ years of experience who can architect and implement robust infrastructure solutions while mentoring teams and driving technical decisions. The role encompasses everything from hands-on platform development to strategic planning and team leadership.

Working from SPAN's San Francisco headquarters, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining critical infrastructure components, implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud resources, and ensuring system reliability.
