SplitMetrics is seeking a Python Engineer to join our remote-first team. We're a leading company in the mobile marketing industry, providing innovative solutions for top app developers. As a Python Engineer, you'll build scalable high load systems, process large amounts of data, work with Big Data, and improve system reliability. You'll be part of a team that has been at the forefront of the industry for almost 9 years, working with global brands and generating over $1 billion in ad spend through our ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build scalable high load systems using Python
- Process large amounts of incoming data (>1TB per day)
- Work with Big Data and adapt products to handle hundreds of millions of records daily
- Improve system (ETL) reliability and test coverage
- Design, build, deploy, monitor, and maintain products
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working with Python, emphasizing async
- Experience with data storages like Postgres and data pipelining
- B1+ English level
- Experience in building and scaling microservices-based solutions
- Experience with modern CI/CD approaches and tools
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals
- Solid understanding of standard web technology
- Comfortable with CLI
- Basic knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of Rust
- Experience working with Kubernetes
- Experience working with Snowflake

Requirements For Python Engineer
- 4+ years of experience working with Python, with emphasis on async
- Experience with data storages like Postgres, and data pipelining
- B1+ English level
- Experience in building solutions based on micro-services and scaling such systems
- Experience with modern CI/CD approaches and tools
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals
- Solid knowledge of standard web technology (HTTP, HTML5, client/server model, security principals)
- Comfortable with CLI
- Basic knowledge of concepts of algorithms and data structures
