As a Senior Sales Engineer for Backstage at Spotify, you'll be part of a nimble, startup-like team driving an entirely new technology-focused business line. Your role will involve a unique balance of technical knowledge, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to help customers understand and implement Backstage to improve developer productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding and explaining Backstage's technical aspects, including architecture, APIs, plugins, and integrations
- Assisting clients with Backstage integration and customization
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support
- Engaging in product demonstrations and proof-of-concept developments
- Collaborating with product management and engineering teams
- Acting as the technical point of contact for clients
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong background in software engineering or DevOps
- Proficiency in web development (React, TypeScript, Node)
- Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise-level integrations

- Prior experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect

Requirements For Senior Sales Engineer - Backstage
