Squiz, a leading provider of Digital Experience Platform (DXP) solutions, is seeking a Software Engineer/Team Lead to join their product engineering team. This hybrid role offers a 50/50 split between hands-on coding and team management, focusing on building Frontend as a Service capabilities including page builder and content editing features.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, particularly strong in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading engineering teams and implementing robust testing strategies.

Responsibilities For Team Lead/Software Engineer (Typescript/Node/React/AWS)

  • Lead a team of engineers to build Frontend as a Service
  • Develop/enhance robust application code meeting technical requirements
  • Collaborate with team members on User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and estimates
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers and assistance to senior engineers
  • Write and maintain software documentation

Requirements For Team Lead/Software Engineer (Typescript/Node/React/AWS)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional hands-on experience in full stack software development
  • Experience with TypeScript, React, Node, AWS (frontend leaning)

  • Experience with Agile or iterative development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices (OWASP)
  • Previous experience leading a team of technology experts
