Entry-level DevOps/SRE Engineer

Stack Builders is seeking an Entry-level DevOps/SRE Engineer for a hybrid role in Quito, Ecuador. As a DevOps/SRE Engineer, you'll work on exciting technical projects with clients from recognized companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. You'll help build and maintain secure, scalable applications while collaborating with innovative thinkers and tackling exciting challenges.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Advanced spoken and written English skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or similar
• 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar role
• Intermediate knowledge of cloud services and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Experience with containers (Docker), CI/CD practices, and Linux systems administration
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Ruby, or Perl)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure security

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and assessing systems performance
• Maintaining cloud-based infrastructure
• Collaborating with development teams to implement infrastructure solutions
• Contributing to security and compliance efforts
