Description For Lead Engineer - Reporting

StackAdapt, the #1 performing native advertising platform, is seeking a Lead Engineer - Reporting to lead their growing full-stack engineering team. This role involves leading a team of 2-4 engineers focused on improving reporting & overview experience in the platform. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience building highly performant web applications, experience leading large-scale modernization efforts, and in-depth experience with Typescript, React, and GraphQL. The role includes mentoring engineers, promoting best practices, planning and architecting web pages, solving technical challenges, and working closely with Product Managers and Designers. Responsibilities For Lead Engineer - Reporting

  • Leading a team of 2-4 engineers focused on improving reporting & overview experience in platform
  • Mentor teams of talented engineers within full-stack web engineering
  • Promote software development best-practices and conduct rigorous code reviews
  • Plan ahead and architect web pages to be strongly typed & maintainable
  • Rigorously identify and solve technical challenges
  • Write code as needed
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Designers
  • Conduct interviews to attract and identify potential high performing candidates
  • Balance and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency

Requirements For Lead Engineer - Reporting

  • At least 5+ years experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding UX
  • Experience leading large scale modernization efforts to revamp legacy systems from start to finish
  • Experience analyzing, benchmarking and optimizing web application performance across the entire stack
  • Experience with at least 3 direct reports in a leadership role
  • In-depth experience with Typescript, React, GraphQL
  • A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
  • Passion to build a positive and fun engineering culture
