Description For Software Engineer - Inventory

As a Software Engineer on the Inventory team, you'll be working on features that help customers discover and utilize premium ad inventory across various channels. The role involves working with large data sets and modern tech stacks including GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer - Inventory

  • Design, improve, and debug complex, scalable distributed systems
  • Find solutions to optimize bottle-necks and general system wide performance
  • Keep the tech stack updated with current standards
  • Write extensible, scalable and test-driven code
  • Take part in technical planning and architectural decision-making
  • Collaborate with team members on designing scalable, well tested, and well documented web architecture
  • Take responsibility and ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical spec reviews

Requirements For Software Engineer - Inventory

  • 1+ years of full-time work experience building highly performant web applications
  • Knowledge of React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with a technical project end-to-end, from design to delivery
  • Strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend systems
  • Experience collaborating with Product & Design
  • Experience working with relational databases and key-value stores
  • Experience working on large scale Ruby on Rails / Go projects
  • Basic knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms
  • Experience analyzing, benchmarking and optimizing web application performance
