Staff4Me is a leading technology company seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer (Tier 4) to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer (Tier 4), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions to meet the business needs of our clients. You will be a vital part of our network engineering team, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices.
- Plan and conduct network upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform network troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure high network availability and performance.
- Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT infrastructure components.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging network technologies and industry trends, and recommend improvements and enhancements to the network infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers.
- Document network designs, configurations, and changes in accordance with company standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for network incidents and escalations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a network engineer, with a proven track record of designing and managing complex network solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Need to be detail-oriented.
- Have network experience with the following vendors: Ruckus, Cisco, Aruba/HPE.
- Firmware management experience.
- Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly desired.
- Experience with cloud networking and virtualization technologies is a plus.
