Stafford Gray is seeking an AI Developer for a hybrid role based in Lansing, Michigan. This position focuses on maintaining and supporting GCP applications, particularly Document AI (DOC AI) for vital records at MDHHS. The role involves working with paper marriage licenses, extracting index information and images to FileNet, and managing data in the VERA application. As a technical lead, you'll guide other developers and participate in various analytical assignments for project enhancement and implementation. The position requires expertise in AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, and programming languages, with a strong focus on document processing and chatbot development. The role offers a flexible schedule with 2 days in office and 3 days remote work. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in AI/ML development and be located within 1.5 hours of the Lansing office.
Responsibilities For AI Developer
- Providing ongoing maintenance and support of GCP applications such as Document AI (DOC AI)
- Developing and maintaining MDHHS DOC AI solution
- Performing as a technical lead and providing technical guidance to other developers
- Participating in analytical assignments for enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects
- Providing technical oversight to developers in the team
- Ensuring data integrity and SEM/SUITE compliance
- Securing the applications
Requirements For AI Developer
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), and/or C++
- Experience in Oracle/Data Bricks/Elastic/ELK
- Proficiency in data processing and analysis using tools such as SQL, R, and/or Pandas
- Experience in working with large datasets and data preprocessing techniques
- Proficiency in unit testing and integration testing for chatbot flows and APIs
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks
- Proficiency with Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools
- Experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
- Experience in building, managing, and optimizing chatbot applications
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud AI, or Azure AI services
- 3+ years in cloud computing and software development
- 3+ years implementing core Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts
- 3+ years designing, building, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions
